Prasiolite and Garnet Pendant

This pendant consists of Prasiolite in the center, surrounded by Tsavorite Garnets. Prasiolite is the soft mint green variety of Quartz, also known as 'Green Amethyst'. Prasiolite has become more popular in jewelry in recent years, due to it's soft soothing color. This Prasiolite was mined in Brazil, which is the primary location for it. The Prasiolite in this pendant is surrounded by one of the rarest forms of Garnet, called Tsavorite Garnet which is an electric green color. Tsavorite is primarily found in Tanzania, but is also found in abundance in Kenya. Garnet is the birthstone of January. This pendant is about 1 inch in length and 1/2 inch in width. It comes with a sterling silver 18 inch chain.
