Peridot Necklace

This chain link necklace contains Peridot in the center. Peridot is the gem quality variety of the mineral Olivine. Peridot/Olivine forms deep within the Earth's mantle and travels up to the surface by volcanoes. Peridot is one of the few gemstones that only occurs in one color, a bright green. Peridot is August's birthstone. This necklace is 18 inches in length and is made of sterling silver.
